Who it suits: massage at the desk and on the road.

What it has going for it
3 speeds. Start gently and build up as the muscle warms.
Shiatsu kneading. Shiatsu-style kneading rather than plain vibration.
Heat. Built-in heat adds warmth while it works.
In the desk chair, it switches off after 15 minutes, so a short break stays short. The heat helps on a stiff afternoon at the desk.
In the car, a car adapter is listed, so it runs from the car socket on long drives.
It runs from an outlet, or from the car adapter on the road, so plan where it will sit.
It switches itself off after 15 minutes, handy if you doze off halfway through.

Both score 5.6/10. The Papillon Shiatsu Massage Pillow brings an auto-off timer, so it has the edge on paper.
Our take
The Papillon Shiatsu Massage Pillow earns its place with 3 speed settings and shiatsu-style kneading. No buyer reviews yet, so this Papillon massage pillow has to win you over on paper. The catch with the Papillon: no word on the settings or the warranty. We'd pick it if you like a kneading massage more than vibration; otherwise, put it next to the Mo Cuishle 3D Shiatsu Massage Pillow first.
We rate it 5.6/10 (fair). The rating comes from its documented listing alone, as no customer-review record is captured yet.
