What it has going for it
Shiatsu kneading. Shiatsu-style kneading rather than plain vibration.
Heat. Built-in heat adds warmth while it works.
The seller states, word for word, in the Homedics Shiatsu Massage Cushion listing:
Integrated chair strap helps secure the massage cushion to most chairs, recliners, or office chairs.
Includes one Homedics Thera-P Deep Kneading Shiatsu Back Massager Cushion with Heat and one instruction manual for easy setup and use.

If we were buying the Homedics Shiatsu Massage Cushion, we'd check the size and shape first: hold it against the body area you want to treat and the chair or seat you will use it on.
Check the cushion fits the chair you will use it on, and that the straps hold it in place.
Plan where it will sit: it needs an outlet nearby.
Start at the gentlest setting and build up until it feels right.
Check the warranty term and the return window before you buy.

Our take
What we'd buy the Homedics Shiatsu Massage Cushion for is shiatsu kneading, with a heat function as a bonus. No buyer reviews yet, so this Homedics massage cushion has to win you over on paper. The catch with the Homedics: no word on the node count or the intensity levels. We'd pick it if you like a kneading massage more than vibration; otherwise, put it next to the Lexeme XL Memory Foam Seat Cushion first.
We rate it 5.7/10 (fair). The rating comes from its documented listing alone, as no customer-review record is captured yet.
Its listing states shiatsu kneading and built-in heat. These are the seller's figures, not our measurements: how the massage feels can't be read from a listing.
